Leszek e Hanna Nowosielski, both famous Polish Ceramists and painters, felt since very young a strong and irresistible vocation for the fine arts – Hanna for theatrical scenography and stage costumes, Leszek for ceramics and painting.
They met each other in the years immediately following the II World War, very difficult times indeed in Poland. Together, they succeeded against all odds to achieve their artistic aspirations creating a small world to its magical, almost unreal, in which to work calmly away from the sorrows and vexations of the outer world, so being able to give life to a serene and harmonious union, complementing and integrating each other so happily in life as well as in art.
